I love finding a great deal. Truly. I love it so much that it has shaped my entire career. I’ve been very fortunate to do exactly what I love: research and vet deals, products, and curated lists on a daily basis. Which is what led me to build a space where I can share my intense vetting process, my 20+ years of experience, and all of the good finds I discover.

There’s something genuinely satisfying about tracking down the right product at the right price, knowing it’s going to land on someone’s doorstep and actually deliver. That’s what The Gooderie is built on.

We’re a small, family-run team, and this site is our way of sharing what we love to do with people who appreciate it as much as we do.

Who’s Behind This

Between my professional background and my life as a sports mom, I bring 23 years of experience in ecommerce, digital publishing, and knowing exactly what’s worth buying.

For 18 of those years, I’ve worked across nearly every corner of the commerce editorial world: writer, editor, project manager, and eventually leading the commerce vertical at a major publishing company, where I built their Deals operation from scratch and managed a team dedicated to finding real price drops and publishing reviews worth reading. I’ve seen how this industry works at every level, and I brought those standards here.

The other side of The Gooderie comes from 12 years in the youth sports world. If you’ve ever stared down a wall of baseball bats with absolutely no idea where to start, you’re in the right place.

How We Do It

  • Every deal is verified. We use price-tracking tools and retail data to make sure that when we call something a deal, it’s a genuine discount. We’re shoppers too, and we’d never share something we wouldn’t feel good about buying ourselves.
  • We test what we recommend. The Gooderie team takes the time to actually use the products we write about. Our reviews reflect real experience, in real situations, because that’s what we’d want as readers.
  • We cover what we love. That means the big sales and crowd favorites, but also the hidden gems in categories we’re personally passionate about. Some of our favorite finds come from the corners of the internet most people never think to look.
